1. To get a tattoo
Just to be clear, this is not something random or a quarter life crisis phase I am going through. I have actually always wanted to get a tattoo. But, I never did gotten one because I never found anything significant enough to tattoo it onto my body until last Sunday. As random as it is, I was at Starbucks last Sunday working on my first assignment for my new module which was a memo on goals of my life.
So while drafting my memo, a quote immediately pop-ed into my mind- 'Now or Never'. This quote brings a lot of significance because I realise after moving to America that I am a person who is always talking myself OUT from doing something new or different. I know this is a bad habit, but there's always this little voice in my head that always messes up with my mind. I need something to remind me to stop this thus this is where the tattoo comes in the picture. I came across this tattoo while googling and I really love the design and the simplicity of it. So, I have decided to get that tattoo on my left forearm.
2. To change my hairstyle AKA get a haircut
I have had long hair like I think 80% of my life, minus my baby and primary school days where hair was starting to grow on my head. My mother was my hairstylist for all my life and she has decided my hairstyles until I was 11 years old. Because of this, she always decided what hairstyle was best for me and I just went along. But this year, I wanted to do something with my hair. First thought was to deep dye my hair. I thought, why not because if I didn't like it, I can cut my hair shorter. But, I didn't do it cause I was pretty occupied with other things before I moved here. My hair is so long now that it's a hassle when I need to wash them. That's why I have decided to cut my hair slightly above my shoulder and try a new hairstyle like how it looks like above. I know I may and may not end up having my hair looking like them as an outcome, but I am gonna give it a try.
