Anyways, a couple of weeks ago, I decided to 'IF NOT NOW, THEN WHEN' to go for this hiking trip after reading a self help book which inspired me to step out of my comfort zone. The closest hiking trip at that time was the Malibu Creek Hike, so I told myself why not. Signed up and paid $15 for the trip, which I thought was worth the money because it included transportations. I love love love hiking and one of my goals when I am here in the United States is to travel around and hike different places.
I was nervous before the trip because I was going to go on a hiking trip with people I have never met before which is something new for me. Back in Malaysia, I always hiked with people I know and it was never awkward. Plus, hiking is a thing where it goes on for at least 2 hours. In that sense, I was going to have to be spending more than 2 hours with people I completely did not know and at a place completely foreign to me.
It turned out so much better than I thought it would be and I think it's mostly because majority of the people that went on this trip were international students. So most people were super friendly and were willing to make new friends. Anyways, the hike was around 3-4 hours I think? I wasn't really keeping track of the time because I was amazed with the view surrounding me cause it was so different compared to hiking in Malaysia. I am just gonna let the photos speak :)
